Digital Transgender Archive
Micky Bradford is a Black queer non-binary trans woman based in Atlanta who co-founded and organized the Southern Fried Queer Pride Festival. At the time of this interview, she was an organizer with Southerners on New Ground and the Transgender Law Center. ln this oral history, Bradford discusses the important of art in culture change, her experiences as a Black trans woman in movements for social justice, relationships with family, and her hopes for the future of gender justice movements.
