I’m A Boy!

This is a cardboard cut-out that was handed to patrons of The Black Cat Bar doing drag so that they could remember how to avoid arrest. On Halloween, police would arrest drag queens after midnight claiming they had an "intent to deceive." If those who got questioned by the police said "I am a boy" the officers would not be able to arrest them as they would be vulnerable to a discrimination lawsuit.
