Joe Ippolito is a white trans man who grew up in Florida. In this oral history, he talks about establishing the Gender Reel festival, chairing the Philadelphia Trans Health Conference, and providing mental health services for LGBT people. He also touches upon his understanding of his sexual orientation, coming out at 30, dating and relationships, and the future of trans politics.
