The man in drag points his finger towards something outside the view. A theatrical skit. A drag performer identified on the verso as A.W. Teviotdale burlesques the performance of Huntley Wright in the role of Barry in 'A country girl' by James T. Tanner: the London production of this play put on at Daly's Theatre in 1902 by the impresario George Edwardes ran for 792 performances and was constantly revived over the next twenty or so years
