The author continues to look after his partner, David Combs, who suffers from AIDS. Wicker describes Marsha P. Johnson's struggles with her mental health. Marsha, Randy, and their roommate, Willie, travel to Arizona to visit Randy's family. The letter contains many photographs of family and friends, including Marsha.
