Collection of materials on Pauli Murray’s (1910-1985) 1949 campaign for City Councilor on behalf of the Brooklyn Citizen’s Committee. Materials include letters of support, Murray’s resume and personal history, flyers advertising rallies, and newspaper clippings. This collection also includes Pauli Murray’s photo album, detailing some family history, and a few vacation photos from 1939-1945.
